Gen. Charles Otema Awany who has shown his interest to run for parliamentary seat has given full bursary to fast rising singer GMS De Younger.

In a video we came across, the general team went to the award winning singer school and cleared his first term school fees.

GMS Da Younger thanked the general for paying his school fees and promised that this is not the last time they are seeing each other. 

The ''Calo Wone" singer  promised to work very hard to excel in his academics with flying colours and never to disappoint the general after clearing his first term school fees.

This comes after Gen Otema watching his performance at the Boda Boda festival and also composing a song titled vote NRM party last year at Pece Stadium Gulu.

According to his dad, he was very happy after receiving a phone call from the team of the General that they are going to pay his son's school fees as he promised to support him academically up to where he wants to stop his studies.

He said he has finally witnessed that the General promised was real and he has paid his son's school fees at Pride Hill Nursery and Primary school.

GMS Da Younger dad who is called Opwonya Robinson has however thanked Gen Otema for his support to educate children from home.
